Working with NGOs
In the past, the enrolment process was typically performed by government officials. Though NGOs were involved in the election ovservation, they were never encouraged to play any role in the voter enrolment process. The BEC welcomed the offer of assistance from NGO communities for assistance in the voter registration process.
